
JOIN OUR VISION FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT
The World Partnership for Development (WPD) recognizes that Early Childhood Development (ECD) is the foundation for lifelong learning, health, and well-being. WPD aims to support children from birth to eight years of age by working closely with families, communities, and partners to provide nurturing care, quality learning, and protection.
Here is what WPD will do in all aspects of ECD and home-based ECDs:

1. Health and Nutrition

Promote good nutrition through parent education and community feeding programs.

Support growth monitoring and health check-ups for young children.

Raise awareness about immunization, hygiene, and disease prevention at home and in the community.

2. Early Learning and Stimulation

Establish and strengthen home-based ECD centers to provide children with a safe and stimulating environment.

Train caregivers, parents, and community volunteers on play-based learning and child-centered teaching methods.

Distribute learning materials and toys made from local resources to encourage creativity and learning through play.

3. Parenting Education and Family Support

Organize parenting sessions to help mothers, fathers, and guardians understand child growth, discipline, and emotional care.
